Sharing my stash in hopes to inspire simplicity in your stash

Updated: Aug 25, 2021

I use cannabis for basically everything when it makes sense. I don't drink and I don't do other drugs. I prefer not to be reliant on prescription pills to help me manage everything from anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and IBS.

Since I live in Colorado, I use the local dispensaries, and I buy my CBD products online. This might seem strange, but it helps keep costs low. One day I would like to grow and make my THC and CBD products, but that's not in the cards right now.

Using cannabis can be expensive, so I only use a handful of local and online stores for the rewards program. My favorite store is Starbuds, they meet most of my needs, and they have an excellent rewards program. I use Plain Jane or Pure Relief for my CBD needs, they are reasonable in price, and Pure Relief has a rewards program, but Plain Jane does not. But Plain Jane has some fantastic prices for their CBD oil.

So, what exactly is in my stash? It's pretty simple, a bong and vaporizer (PAX II), THC and CBD flower, CBD Full-spectrum oil, edibles, and topicals. Bud is my favorite way to consume and then edibles, usually homemade or Ripples. I have tried wax, but the whole process is a bit much for me.

Meet C2 - my self named bong. :-)

As a teenager, I used to smoke blunts or joints. But as an adult and daily user, bongs are my thing now. I love beautiful bongs, but I usually like clear glass because I know when it's clean. I'm an avid bong user because my throat is sensitive, so having some water and using ice is helpful. I also love the high from a bong! Nothing compares to me. Bongs are recreational for me; when I'm using a bong, I want to be high as a kite.

My second favorite way to consume - Pax II

My newest toy is a birthday gift from my boyfriend. I picked Pax II because it's for the flower only. My favorite way to consume cannabis. The Pax is easy to use and hits beautifully. I can use CBD or THC flower, a good battery life; it's discreet and easy to clean. I use my Pax II primarily for CBD unless it's date night!

One day I hope to be able to add the Hydrology9 Vaporizer to my collection — a bong vaporizer. But at $200 I will need to wait a bit. Check out the website here: https://www.cloudious9.com/Hydrology9-Holiday-Bundle_p_40.html

My Topical Pain Relief Cream

I use this for pain in my shoulder, neck, arm, and back. It's a little pricey, so we buy this stuff on Thursdays, where you can get 25% off CBD items at Starbuds. Thankfully I've been getting better, so I don't need this stuff as much, but I love it and use it for everything.

CBD Oil and Flower

I take 1000mg of CBD oil daily under my tongue for 20 seconds, or I microdose for the day. CBD oil can have flavors like mint, but I love the natural taste of cannabis.

Plain Jane Elektra CBD Strain is a staple in my stash. I use this stuff with my satvia THC strains every time. It's uplifting, keeps me focused yet relaxed, helps with pain and nausea. My life is not complete without this strain in my stash.

Ripple - the sneaky high

Edibles provide me more of a body high, my mind feels stimulated but not over the top like when you inhale weed. At the time of this article, I haven't been able to smoke for several weeks because of a severe allergic reaction when working with marijuana plants. I can smoke the sh*t out of marijuana, but I can't work with the plants - at least not at the scale I was. I was heartbroken. :-( Edibles can be the hardest to learn how to dose because it hits everyone at different times in different ways. Having a horrible allergic issue helped me discover my dosage and roughly how long it lasts. I take 20mg, and I'm happy for several hours.

Smoke Buddy and Hemp Wick

With having a teenager around the house and personal preference, we use Smoke Buddy and always toke in our second bathroom or outside. If I decide to do any baking, I generally do it when my son is at school or a friend's house. I try not to make it too obvious with my son even though he knows that I use cannabis.

I have been working on being chemical-free in our household. It's not perfect by any means, but part of that for me meant not using the lighter due to chemicals. Check out this article from Herb.co about Why the chemicals in your lighter may be slowing killing you. The next thing I want to try is a Glass wand, see this article about four ways to light up instead of using a lighter.

I enjoyed sharing my stash with you! It's a simple set up, but how it changes my life is incredible. The person I am without cannabis versus the person I am with cannabis is night and day. I'm thankful that my conditions are not severe and that a little goes a long way.
