The Self-Paced Cannabis Course

I wanted to create a cannabis education (or marijuana education) course because when I started using cannabis again I was clueless. I struggled with my "addiction" to smoking. But I learned it wasn't an addiction, at least not for me, it was not understanding how cannabis works, how to dose, and how to consume cannabis in ways that worked for me and my healthy lifestyle.

Below is an outline of the course to help you understand what to expect and what you will learn in the course. Sign up for the waitlist!

Cannabis History

Mondays

4:30 pm

Why is the history of cannabis important?

Because the history shows us how the plant was intended to use, and how the "recreational" aspect of the plant is something that was also enjoyed throughout history.

In this module, we will cover:

  • Ancient times

  • Colonial US times

  • 1900's to 1990's

  • 2000s to current

How cannabis works

Tuesdays

10:00 am

There is a lot of misconception around how to use cannabis. Like, you have to have high for cannabis to work. With what we know now, you never have to be high and still use a natural plant to help you.

In this module, you will learn:

  • The Endocannabinoid System

  • Cannabinoids

  • Terpenes

What cannabis can help with

Tuesdays

10:00 am

Cannabis has the potential to help with a lot. However, this course is not designed to help you with one specific ailment, it's here to give you the tools and resources for you to determine if cannabis is right for you.

In this module, you will learn:

  • What to research if you are self-medicating

  • Most common ailments cannabis is used for

  • The different ways to consume cannabis

Dosing and ratios with cannabis

Saturdays

11:30 am

Cannabis dosing and ratios can be confusing for some. I know it was for me!  I encourage everyone to understand dosing, ratios  and measurements of flowers. However, I don't believe in becoming overly focused on dosing. I believe in focusing on how you feel and always ensuring it's enhancing your life.

In this module, you will learn:

  • Dosing with cannabis

  • Ratios with cannabis

  • Flower measurements

  • Establishing rules for your use

Cannabis and your lifestyle

Saturdays

11:30 am

I hear so many people who still hide their use for one reason or another. Some of them I completely understand. Cannabis is not legal on the federal level. Even if you live in a legal state there are strict laws around using, carrying and driving.

In this module, you will learn:

  • Where to find your laws

  • Creating a cannabis-friendly home

The concept came to me when I would hide in the bathroom to use cannabis. I felt like an irresponsible adult. Using cannabis shouldn't be like that, it's an amazing, beautiful and healing experience.
